Leuchars train station I leave early in the morning |
My train |
Anne on the train, reflected in the window |
Sunrise is visible just south of Edinburgh |
I arrive in Newcastle Inside of the train station |
Walk up to the University A nice pedestrian mall |
Research Beehive Where the workshop takes place |
Apple came with demonstration equipment (the picture on the huge monitor is an MEG, magnetoencephalograph, image) |
The workshop ended early and I resisted buying things on sale |
And instead turned tourist This is some of Newcastle University |
The most beautiful street in Newcastle It has many old buildings |
Earl Grey's monument |
Then it was back to the train station |
Where I watched pigeons (any bird attracts my attention!) |
Until my train arrived |
David picks me up in Leuchars |
At home David shows me his camera lens that came while I was gone |
And a photo David took with the new lens an oystercatcher |
